Creating Tokens

Creating a token profile is the first step to launching on Ballistic.

On the Create Token page, you'll fill in all the necessary information about your project, including:

To get started, navigate to the main page and click "Create Token."

Choose the type of the token you want to launch

On Ballistic currently we support 2 token types. PumpFun, Bonk and usual SPL token for Raydium. SOL2022 and Meteora support are in the plans.

Here you can either generate or paste the private key of the Deployer AKA Dev wallet.

Always save up private keys you generate through Ballistic! You will need them during all the stages of your launch.

Fill in all the necessary details of your token. If you select PumpFun there are no Decimals and Supply fields.

On Solana there is a limit length for Symbol and Name. 32 bytes for Name and 10 bytes for $TICKER

Keep that in mind when you come up with the naming. Ballistic won't let you to create a token which is beyond that limit.

Just Upload your Token Image and add Description, Ballistic will take care of compressing and resizing your image according to Solana requirements

Description limit is 1000 bytes!

You can choose whether you want your token to end with "pump". This feature is available even for Raydium tokens.

Soon we'll integrate custom ending generation, such as "cash".

Pro tip - don't reuse your Twitter accounts for your launches. It will be shown on most of the modern scanners like gmgn.ai.
